Overview

The Other Chair ("the app," "we," "us") is a cozy fictional narrative simulation game made by Paper Fiddle Studio. We believe privacy should be simple: we collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and you can play the entire game without an account.

This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and what your choices are.

What We Collect

1. Information you give us (only if you choose to)

Optional account (email + password) If — and only if — you choose to create an account to sync your save across devices, we store:

• Your email address
• An encrypted password
• Your game save data (practice name, week/year, progression, choices)

You can play the entire game without ever creating an account. Saves stay on your device by default.

Support emails If you email us at [email protected], we'll have your email and whatever you wrote to us. We use it to reply to you. That's it.

2. Information collected automatically

On-device save data The app stores your game progress locally on your device. This never leaves your device unless you create an optional account.

Purchase records (handled by Apple) If you make an in-app purchase (Warm Cup or Supporter Edition), Apple handles the transaction. We receive a receipt confirming the purchase so we can unlock the content. We do not see your payment method, billing address, or Apple ID.
